Palmer Construction Company, also doing business as Palmer Property Management ("Palmer," "we," "us"), manages rental homes in Tuscaloosa and Northport, Alabama. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, our phone line and our text messages, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information you give us
- Contact form: your first and last name, email, phone number and message.
- Phone calls to (866) 953-8055: calls may be answered by Lyra, our AI assistant. Calls may be recorded. We keep a record of each call, including your phone number, what you asked about, and any details you share, such as your name, the property you're interested in, or a tour time.
- Text messages: your phone number and the messages you send us. See our Text Message (SMS) Terms.
- Applications, payments and the resident portal: these are handled by AppFolio, our property management software, and are covered by AppFolio's privacy policy as well as this one.
Information collected automatically
When you visit this website, our website platform records basic visit information, such as the pages you view, your browser and device type, and the general area you're visiting from. We use it to see how the site is used and to keep it working. The contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA to block spam, which sends information about your visit to Google. Maps on the site are provided by Mapbox. We do not use advertising trackers.
How we use your information
- To answer your questions, schedule and confirm tours, and follow up on your inquiry
- To provide resident services, such as maintenance and account questions
- To send the text messages described in our SMS terms
- To review calls and messages so we can improve our service and train our team

- with service providers that run our website, phone and text systems, email and property management software, so they can provide those services to us;
- when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our residents, our team or others; and
- with a buyer or successor if a property or our business is sold.
Your phone number and your agreement to receive texts are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
How long we keep it
We keep information as long as we need it for the purposes above, including as long as you are a prospect or resident and afterward as required for our records and legal obligations.
